What should I bring with me to Mrs. Maxwell's class?

Below you will find a list of basic materials you will need for my class throughout the year.  If you need additional materials, I will tell you in advance and post them here.

It's Time For Math!!!

AMDM and AP Statistics
Book
  • Statistics book (The Practice of Statistics, 3rd ed.)
Notebook
  • 2" or 3" hard cover binder with 14 tab dividers (AP Statistics)
  • 2" hard cover binder with 6 tab dividers (AMDM)
  • You may label the tabs by unit; there will be 14 units and 6 units, respectively.
  • AP students need an optional but highly recommended resource, AP Barron's for Statistics.  See me if you have questions.
Pencils
  • ALL:  You may only write in pencil in my class.  If an assignment is completed in ink and turned in, you will be asked to rework the assignment before receiving any credit for it.  Credit will not be given until the assignment is completed in pencil!!!
  • A good rule of thumb is to have at least 2 pencils in class each day.  Keep plenty of them in your bookbag!

Notebook paper

  • Loose leaf college or wide rule is okay; you can fit more on the page using college rule.
  • YOU WILL NEED LOTS OF PAPER!!!!!
Graph Paper
  • You will need 1" grid paper.  This is highly recommended for any graphing activity.
Graphing Calculator
  • Students are required to have a graphing calculator, either TI-83 or TI-84 will work fine.
